Welcome to Le Domaine de Loustalviel, a tiny hamlet of sympathetically restored 19th century farmhouses, set in over seven acres of tranquil, tree-shaded gardens and meadows that slope down to a tiny brook at the border of our land. Two of the houses are for our guests (sleeping 4 each (or 8in all)), and we live in the third. Each spacious house has a large living area, two en suite bedrooms, and a modern kitchen. Each has its own private garden and outside dining/BBQ area. The houses are well equipped with LCD TVs, FreeSat, games console and internet access. All towels and linen are supplied. Cots and high chairs are also available on request.
The Domaine is set amidst lovely rolling hills, and has beautiful views of the Pyrenees. The 12 metre, heated pool (open April-October), has a safety fence and large terraced area, and is well equipped with sunbeds and shaded areas.
One and a half kilometres away is Pech Luna, a pretty hilltop village 1,000 ft up into the rolling foothills of the Pyrenees in the Languedoc region of South West France. It has a church, a mairie, a school, and very little else beyond a serene air of calm and tranquillity.
The Domaine is surrounded by ancient towns, churches, lakes, vineyards and prehistoric cave complexes. There are many activities to suit all ages, including just relaxing by the pool. Carcassonne and Toulouse airports within an hour.
